Dr. Sara Bond earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, and is currently practicing out of MCDC’s Washtenaw dental center. She maintains active membership status with Omicron Kappa Upsilon, Michigan Dental Association, Washtenaw District Dental Society, and is a past member of the American Dental Association.
Dr. Bond is a strong advocate for preventive dentistry, including nutritional counseling, use of fluoride, and xylitol to fight decay, as well as early intervention in oral diseases. Dr. Bond is a strong supporter of providing the first dental appointment around time the first teeth come in. She prides herself on providing dental care in the kindest manner possible, and giving her patients a good experience that is unlike any other. Her professional and research interests center around preventative dentistry and oral health care for children, as well as comprehensive general dentistry.
Dr Bond completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency through the United States Air Force and practiced for an additional two years in the military as a general dentist. She currently lives in Ann Arbor, MI with her husband and two daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, fishing, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family.
