My Community Dental Centers Presents: Free Dental Day November 12th in Observance of Veterans Day

PETOSKEY, MICH., September 18, 2018 – In observance of Veterans Day, My Community Dental Centers (MCDC) is pleased to announce a Free Dental Day on Monday, November 12th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for Veterans and their families. This event exemplifies MCDC’s desire to give back to the community and will be held at three participating MCDC Dental Centers, located in Charlotte, Flint, and Detroit:

Charlotte Dental Center
623 Courthouse Drive
Charlotte, MI 48813

Detroit – Samaritan Dental Center
5555 Conner Avenue
Detroit, MI 48213

Flint Dental Center
G4007 W Court Street, Suite 2D
Flint, MI 48532

Veterans seeking care may receive one or more of the following dental services: cleaning, filling or extraction (tooth removal). The most emergent treatment will be performed on a first come, first served basis, and the number of procedures per patient will depend on patient volume. Veterans will receive priority, but their families are also welcome. A valid Veteran ID Card, DD-214 or other proof of military service is required to receive services. All persons who are interested must pre-register by calling 1-877-313-6232.

When MCDC held a similar event in 2016, 103 patients were served with 399 procedures provided, rendering $26,652 of free care for Veterans and their families. This year’s goal is to increase those numbers and provide at least $30,000 in care.

This event is sponsored by MCDC, The Henry Schein Cares Foundation, Patterson Dental, and The Delta Dental Foundation.
