Dr. Timothy Williams earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of Michigan School of Dentistry back in 1974, and he’s currently practicing oral surgery out of MCDC’s Kent County South dental center in Kentwood, MI. He is active and maintains membership in the Michigan Dental Association, Michigan Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and is a lifetime member of the American Dentistry Association.
At his core, Dr. Williams strives to provide the best care he’s capable of providing to every patient he treats. He also enjoys teaching the senior dental students that matriculate through his dental center in order to help improve the overall level of dental care offered by our organization. He attends periodic profession meetings and seminars as they relate to continuing education.
Dr. Williams has held the following past organizational positions:
- Past founder and President of Kalamazoo Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (1980-2012)
- Chief of Dental Service – Bronson Methodist Hospital (1983-1985)
- Chief of Dental Service – Borgess Hospital (1988-1990)
He’s received several commendation plaques for service as Chief of Dental Departments as listed above. Dr. Williams’ primary residence is in Isle of Palms, SC, where he enjoys boating, biking, golf and playing with his six grandchildren.
